RRR Rodeo is an on-going effort based show. You can enter pieces with as much or as little content as you like, anything from a sketchy headshot to a highly realistic full body is permitted to enter (you can even use up old entries that were never judged - you just wont receive as many background points if it doesn't match our show), each entry is given a point score based on its content. Check out the judging points journal above for more info. Adding more detail, handlers, extra images and stories will give your image more points. There are rosettes & trophies on offer in the main classes, with rosettes, trophies and points on offer in the special commendation class.
This is an on-going show, there is no deadline, you can enter whenever you like, simply post your entries on this journal for them to be included. Each class will be judged when it reaches 5 entries. Winning some classes qualify your animal to move onto another class - this will be done automatically. If your entry scores 20 points or more it will be awarded the title 'special commendation' and entered into the special commendation class to compete against other entries of quality artistic merit. Winners of this class are then entered into the show champion class.

I can enter my own animals as scoring is by a points scale and not comparitive
include a link to the animals reference in the artists comments of your entry.
post on this journal to enter, make sure you include which class you are entering.
Although you may enter English trained horses in English tack for any of the events you will not be able to score any points in the tack category.

Spanish Mustang Pedigree Class
Held in the outdoor arena, only mustangs with 75% or more Spanish blood (some BLM horses will qualify and purebred Spanish mustangs). Class is in hand - not ridden.
Coconino Cow Pony Conformation Class
Held in the outdoor arena, only registered coconino cow ponies. Shown in hand.
Barrel Racing
Held in the outdoor arena, any style.

Held in outdoor arena, any style.
Western Pleasure
Held in outdoor arena, ridden class.
Cattle Cutting
Held in outdoor arena, single or team, bring own cattle or use ranch cattle (extra points offered for using our animals).
Trail Class
Held in outdoor arena, navigate a series of western trail themed obstacles, (course layout coming soon in the mean time use your imagination).
Western Show Jumping
Held in outdoor arena, (course layout coming soon in the mean time use your imagination).
Western Dressage
Held in the outdoor arena, any style, western tack and wear highly preferred.

Any breed, with or without tack, headshots only for people who like quick classes.

Wild Horse 'Photography' Class
Images should show wild horses (individual or herds) in a completely natural setting. The images should incorporate artistic composition and capture the lifestyle of these animals - can be pryor mountain horses or private wild/feral horses.
Special Commendation Class
Any horse scoring 20 points or more is automatically entered into this class.
Show Champion Class
The winner of the special commendation class is put into this class to compete for the title 'show champion'.

Dogs are entered into their group or puppy class (judged when 5 are entered), winner of each group is then automatically forwarded to best in show class (again judged when 5 are forwarded). Held in our outdoor arena.

American Range Dog Speciality
Conformation Class specifically for American Range Dogs, ARD are shown stacked, gaited and at a run, with many sharp turns to show off agility. Held in our outdoor arena.
Working Cattle Dog Trials
Held in our outdoor arena. Bring your own cattle or use our animals (extra points awarded for using our animals)
Western Agility
Western themed agility trial, held in outdoor arena, (course layout coming soon in the mean time use your imagination).
Gundog Trial
Held in the pastures behind the outdoor arena, dogs are expected to carry out a range of obedience tasks as well as hunt, point, flush and retrieve tasks - dummies are used not live game.
Sled Dog Race
Teams can be of any number, held in the surrounding range land - use this collection for inspiration - snow only lays in the winter, so wheeled sleds may be used in the summer.
